Inspiring My Generation's Encouragement Card Program

is designed to engage our community in providing notes of love, support, and encouragement to individuals hospitalized in psych wards with the goal that the individual receiving the card will find some comfort and motivation through their recovery.

GUIDELINES

All cards MUST contain ONLY positive, supportive, and uplifting messages. As we cannot control who receives each card, please be sure to AVOID religious or gender-specific messages.

A few examples of appropriate messaging include:

  • Get well soon
  • You will get through this
  • You are not alone
  • It is ok not to be ok
  • Thinking of you

Attention Students: Please mail your service hour forms with the encouragement cards. Forms will be signed and mailed out to you within 7 business days. Every 2 cards will be counted as 1 hour.
