Mental Health Conversations

Checking in with yourself, your peers, and your loved ones is important! Based on Francesca Reicherter’s books, “You Are Not Alone: The Workbook” and “I AM,” the “Mental Health Conversations” Workshop is designed to help you develop the language to engage in mental health conversations and reach out for mental health support. As your presenter, Francesca will teach you how to listen to, validate, and support someone as they open up to you about their mental health. She will also walk you through the five different types of support available and how you can identify and reach out for the support you need.

Each attendee will receive a free downloadable worksheet packet to follow along with the presentation, complete practice exercises, and keep as a resource.

Learning About Self-Talk and Coping Skills

How do you talk to yourself? How do you help yourself manage overwhelming emotions? Based on Francesca Reicherter’s books, “You Are Not Alone: The Workbook” and “I AM,” the “Learning About Self-Talk and Coping Skills” Workshop is designed to help you gain confidence in yourself and discover ways to comfort yourself through difficult times. As your presenter, Francesca will walk you through reframing negative thoughts to positive thoughts and building positive self-talk before helping you identify coping skills that work best for you and your specific needs.

Each attendee will receive a free downloadable worksheet packet to follow along with the presentation, complete practice exercises, and keep as a resource.

Learning To Love Yourself

Based on Francesca Reicherter’s book, “You Are Not Alone: The Workbook,” the “Learning To Love Yourself” Workshop is designed to help you build positive affirmations and self-love statements; learn various ways to express your emotions; develop coping skills and emotional wellness toolbox. As your presenter, Francesca will break down the use of affirmations and self-love statements before opening up space to practice building your own statements. Then, she will discuss different outlets for expressing emotions in a healthy way. Francesca will wrap up the workshop by helping you build coping skills and emotional wellness toolboxes.

Introduction to Youth Advocacy

Are you interested in becoming a mental health advocate? Dive into the world of advocacy with mental health advocate, author, and speaker, Francesca Reicherter. In the “Introduction to Youth Advocacy” Workshop, you will learn more about what it means to advocate for someone else while building the tools essential to effective advocacy. Throughout this workshop, Francesca will break down the steps to building an advocacy plan and then walk through each of the steps with you. You will leave the workshop with a step-by-step guide on how to be an advocate for someone else.

This workshop is restricted to ages 12+. For all registrants under the age of 18, a parental consent form must be submitted before attending. Each registered attendee will receive a free downloadable worksheet packet to follow along with the presentation, complete practice exercises, and keep as a resource.

Introduction to Mentoring

Have you ever thought about becoming a mentor? In the “Introduction to Mentoring” Workshop, you will learn how to take on the role of a mentor. Mental health advocate, author, and speaker, Francesca Reicherter will break down what it means to be a mentor and the important skills all mentors should have. She will also teach you about the process of mentoring, from motivational interviewing to change statements to developing goals. You will leave this workshop with a guide on how to develop goals and plans with your mentee.
